Rescue Ride
Sat 5th November 2016

A ride to raise funds for Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter

Registration is at the Waihi Beach Memorial RSA from 8.30 am.

 The RSA will have available a cooked breakfast at a cost of $5.00.

The first group of riders will depart at 10am.

The ride stops for lunch at Putaruru Primary School who run a fund raiser lunch.

There is a prize draw for all participants.

The ride ends at the Raglan Club at Raglan Village.

 Registration is $20 per person

    Hi there, this was an absolutely brilliant ride last year, even with the challenging weather! There was refreshments/bbq organised at the end of the ride at the Raglan Hotel which ended up being a massive feed - will there be anything like that this year?

      Hi Anj,

      This year the end of ride BBQ is not on as it ended up costing around $300 for the food that had to be dumped due to the low turn out because of the weather.

      There will still be the lunch stop at Putaruru school where they will have their fund raiser lunch available.

      I will look at the end of ride BBQ for next years ride if their is a good turn out this time around.
